Job Description

Job description Cole Park Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, AAHA accredited, small animal practice in Chapel Hill, NC. We are looking for a receptionist to join our team. Our hospital boasts an enjoyable working environment with great leadership and excellent support staff. This is a full-time position, weekends and holidays are required. Applicants must be a team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Must be self-motivated, have good communication skills, be detail-oriented, and be committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients and their pets. Priority will be given to applicants with experience working in a veterinary hospital.
Job Responsibilities:
Greet clients and their pets warmly, ensuring a positive first impression Schedule appointments, manage the appointment calendar, and confirm appointments Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records, including medical history and vaccination records. Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to appropriate staff members. Process payments for services rendered, including handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods. Provide clients with information about pet care, vaccinations, and other services offered by the hospital. Assist veterinary staff with various tasks, such as data entry and maintaining a clean and organized reception area. Help with the inventory of office supplies, reordering as needed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing exceptional customer service. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using computer systems, including practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Comfortable interacting with animals of all types and sizes.
