Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Receptionist at Deacon Jones Auto Group (Master) will serve as the first point of contact for customers and visitors at our new car dealership. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere, ensuring a positive first impression of our brand. The Receptionist will manage the front entrance, handle inquiries, and support the dealership's administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers and visitors as they enter the dealership, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments or personnel, ensuring efficient communication within the dealership. Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, including managing brochures and promotional materials to ensure they are up-to-date and well-displayed. Assist customers with inquiries about dealership services, vehicle inventory, and promotions, providing accurate and helpful information. Schedule appointments and manage the dealership's calendar for test drives, service appointments, and other customer engagements. Coordinate with sales and service departments to ensure customer needs are met promptly and efficiently. Handle basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing incoming and outgoing mail. Support dealership events and promotions by assisting with setup, guest registration, and providing information as needed. Uphold the dealership's standards of customer service and professionalism at all times.
Schedule:
Monday- Friday 4pm-8pm 2 Saturdays a month from 9am-6pm
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the hospitality or automotive industry Experience handling multi-line phone systems and managing front desk operations Familiarity with basic administrative and clerical procedures
Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
