Job Description

Charlotte Gastroenterology and Hepatology is hiring Appointment Schedulers for our Huntersville office. Come join a team that cares about what they do!

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION

This position is responsible for scheduling patients for procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Schedule patient office visits. 2. Verify the patient's insurance and demographic information. 3. Cancel and/or reschedule patient visits. 4. Post referrals into the computer system. 5. Review schedules as needed ensuring physician schedules are full. 6. Identifies and resolves work problems to ensure quality patient service. 7. Prepare and mail procedure care packets. 8. Attend departmental and company-wide meetings as requested. 9. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
