Job Description
Half Moon Pet Spa is looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to add to our team! This is a full-time temporary position with the opportunity for continued employment as our business continues to grow. We are looking for someone who loves pets and enjoys working with people. The ideal candidate will have a warm and welcoming personality and will help our pet parents with the pet spa experience of their furry family members. Position Overview:
The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for our pet parents and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for both clients and their pets. This position is responsible for providing friendly, professional customer service while assisting with pet drop-offs and pick-ups, scheduling appointments, answering phones and messages, processing payments, and maintaining accurate client and pet information.Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets in a friendly, welcoming, and professional manner
- Assist with pet drop-offs and pick-ups, ensuring pets and belongings are handled safely
- Answer incoming phone calls, texts, emails, and client inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, and manage grooming appointments
- Check clients in and out and communicate important information to the grooming team
- Process payments and maintain accurate client and pet records
- Communicate grooming services, pricing, appointment times, and spa policies to pet parents
- Address client questions and concerns with patience and professionalism
- Keep the front desk, lobby, and client areas clean, organized, and welcoming
- Assist with light cleaning and general tasks throughout the pet spa as needed
- Monitor the schedule and help keep appointments running smoothly and on time
- Communicate effectively with groomers and other team members
- Provide exceptional customer service and help create a positive experience for every pet and pet parent
