Job Description

We're looking for a Receptionist/Bookkeeper to welcome clients, answer their questions about our services and do some accounting/bookkeeping. You will be responsible for greeting clients and directing them to the right location. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, so you must always be positive and friendly. You should have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a level of computer knowledge. Every day, you'll use your skills to use various software, including email. Ultimately, you should help drive our company's growth by providing useful information to clients regarding our services.
Responsibilities:
Handle daily mail. Answer and forward incoming phone calls. Greet and welcome clients as soon as they arrive at the office. Maintain office security by verifying clients names and reasons for coming to our office. Update calendars and schedule meetings. Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying and scanning. The bookkeeping part will require being able to post numbers to a general ledger, be able to calculate payrolls and run reports (through a software program). Being able to work under stress is very important. Hours-THIS
IS NOT A PART TIME OR TEMPORARY POSITION.
No night time work but Saturdays from 8:00 until 12:00 are required February through end of tax season usually April 15th. January hours 8:30 until 4:30 Monday through Friday. February through April 15th hours 8:30 until 5:30 Monday through Friday. The rest of April through June hours 8:30 until 4:30 Monday through Friday. July through December hours 8:30 through 4:30 Monday through Thursday. NO vacation time January through April.
