Administrative Assistant / Receptionist (Part-Time) Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce Position Overview The Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to support daily office operations. This position serves as the first point of contact for members, visitors, and the public while providing administrative and event support to the Chamber staff.
Schedule & Pay Part-Time:
Monday, Wednesday & Friday | 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Additional Tuesday or Thursday hours may be available for vacation coverage, events, or special projects.
Starting Pay:
$17.00 per hour Primary Responsibilities Greet members, visitors, and guests in a professional and welcoming manner. Answer and direct incoming phone calls while providing Chamber, business, and county information. Enter and maintain member information in the Chamber database (training provided). Assist with scheduling, emails, filing, copying, updating Board meeting minutes, and general office support. Support Chamber events by assisting with registrations, materials, and event logistics. Assist the Chamber President and staff with administrative projects. Maintain an organized, professional reception area. Qualifications Previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficient in Zoom, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to learn new software. Basic graphic design or printing experience is a plus. Professional appearance and dependable work ethic. Why Join Our Team?
