Job Description
We are actively hiring for a front desk staff to work at our Lincolnton location with our intake, medication management and outpatient therapy departments. This is a full-time hourly position with full benefits. The hours are Monday-Thursday 7:45AM-5:00PM. Support, Inc. is a CARF accredited behavioral health agency serving primarily the child/adolescent population in Gaston, Lincoln, Catawba and Cleveland counties. The services we provide include Outpatient Therapy, School-Based Therapy, Day Treatment, Medication Management, Family-Centered Treatment, Intensive In-Home, Level II Therapeutic Foster Care and Intensive Alternative Family Treatment. Responsibilities Set new patients up in the room to complete virtual visits Return patient calls and document interaction in patient chart Schedule patient appointments for intake, therapy and medication management Taking patients vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, weight, height) Creating new patient charts and scan/upload documents Calling new patients to schedule first time appointments Sending paperwork to guardians through our EMR system and in the office to the tablets Front desk coverage Collecting copays Reminder calls/texts for medication appointments Filling in for the med assistant when needed (once fully trained) Establish and maintain good rapport with patients and staff All other responsibilities as requested Experience & Skills Must be organized, have strong communication skills and be detail oriented Must have excellent internal & external customer service skills Must have ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively Must have ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to adapt well to constant changes within the agency Must be reliable, dependable and self-sufficient
