Baird's Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced, dependable, and compassionate receptionist to join our team. Our hospital is an extremely fast-paced environment , so the ideal candidate must be organized, confident, efficient, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while remaining professional. Previous receptionist experience is required. Veterinary or medical-office experience is strongly preferred. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Greeting clients and checking patients in and out Answering and managing a high volume of phone calls Scheduling appointments and emergencies appropriately Providing clients with accurate estimates and clearly reviewing anticipated costs Collecting payments and following all hospital policies regarding financial matters Maintaining accurate client and patient information Communicating effectively with clients, doctors, and team members Handling stressful or emotional situations with patience and compassion Keeping the reception area clean and organized The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, excellent communication and customer-service skills, strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and the ability to multitask without sacrificing accuracy. This person must be comfortable discussing financial matters professionally, consistently following hospital policies, and asking for clarification when needed. Pay:
$11.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
