Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Nail Salon Receptionist , where your energy and enthusiasm will set the tone for an exceptional customer experience. In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for clients, managing appointments, answering inquiries, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will ensure smooth daily operations and foster client loyalty. Duties Greet clients warmly upon arrival and provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive salon experience Schedule appointments accurately using the salon's POS (Point of Sale) system, managing bookings efficiently Answer all incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information and assisting with appointment scheduling or product inquiries Upsell salon services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Conduct product demos when introducing new nail care items or promotional offers to clients Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure retail shelves are stocked with popular products Handle cash transactions, process payments through POS systems, and perform basic retail math for accurate cash handling Manage inventory by stocking supplies, tracking product levels, and assisting with merchandising efforts Supervise junior staff or trainees as needed, ensuring they follow proper procedures and uphold salon standards Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles, preferably in a beauty or grocery store environment Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities and team management skills Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse clientele effectively Strong phone etiquette with clear communication skills to handle inquiries professionally Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales processing Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor and strong communication abilities Familiarity with merchandising techniques, product demos, upselling strategies, and stock management practices Join us in creating memorable experiences for every client while advancing your career in a lively, supportive environment!
Pay:
$18.16 - $20.49 per hour
