Job Description
Polley Clinic of Dermatology is dedicated to providing our patients the best care possible. We are looking for upbeat reliable candidates to join our Front Desk team in our Roanoke Rapids location! Front Desk responsibilities include but are not limited to: Answer phones; take messages and route to appropriate personnel Greet patients, verify patients' demographics and insurance information, and collect any fees due before patient is seen by a provider Process office visit charges and patient payment transactions in a timely manner according to PCD policies. Complete End-Of-Day reports and reconcile patient accounts with Front Office Manager Prepare for next day's appointments. This includes reviewing schedule for accuracy and confirming insurance status. Ensure all forms, records, etc. pertinent to the office visit are available Manage new patient requests. Set-up new patient packets and charts Maintain computer chart accuracy of patient information. Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and the office supply cabinet Ensure patients who have a POA have the paperwork needed to put into their chart and that their POA is accompanying the patient Travel to the Smithfield office on Mondays. Travel occasionally 50% Insurance Eligibility Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Skills Proficient in use of computer Windows based programs, spreadsheets, word processing, and scheduling programs Excellent communication and written skills Ability to address patient concerns/questions in a positive proactive manner Ability to handle multiple tasks in a professional, organized, and friendly manner•If you believe you're a fit for this position, please provide your resume for review!
