Front Desk Receptionist - Optometry Office Join Our Team! We are looking for a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our optometry office. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is organized and detail-oriented, and can provide excellent patient service in a busy healthcare environment. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and provide a welcoming experience Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries Check patients in and out and maintain accurate patient information Verify insurance benefits and assist with insurance-related questions Collect copays, payments, and balances Coordinate appointments and maintain an organized front desk Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and staff Assist with optical sales and frame selection when needed Maintain patient confidentiality and follow office policies Help keep the reception area professional, organized, and welcoming Qualifications Previous medical, optometry, or front-desk experience preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Professional, friendly, and dependable personality Comfortable using computers and learning office software Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Insurance verification or medical billing experience is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay Positive and professional work environment Opportunities for growth and learning Employee benefits: Paid time off, Paid holidays, 401k, Medical insurance Full-time position•
