Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for animals and excellent customer service skills. Experience with Avimark is an extra bonus!
Duties:
  • Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
  • Process payments and handle billing inquiries
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with veterinary regulations
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with various tasks as needed
  • Other duties that may arise
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
  • The ability to multi-task and maintain excellent client service
  • A thirst for knowledge and passion for taking on new tasks as they come at you
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and often stressful environment
  • Understand the human animal bond and support clients and their needs
  • Proficiency in veterinary terminology
  • Ability to assist in veterinary critical care situations
