WisEngineering, LLC is currently interviewing candidates for an immediate or near term position with our company in support of ongoing Department of Defense programs at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, NJ. Candidate must be US Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance. Successful candidate will be a direct (W2) part time hourly employee of WisEngineering.

WisEngineering is seeking a reliable, polished, and professional Part-Time Receptionist to manage front desk operations for the Morning (AM) Shift at our Picatinny Arsenal Headquarters building. As the primary point of contact for incoming personnel and guests, you will play a critical role in supporting daily facility operations, enforcing security protocols, and maintaining a welcoming, organized lobby environment. Punctuality, strong communication skills, and a professional demeanor are essential for success in this role. Candidate must be available to cover both shifts should the need arise.Key Responsibilities:
Visitor & Security Management:
Greet and check in all visitors, verify government/personal identification, issue visitor and contractor badges, and maintain accurate entry logs.Access & Facility Coordination:
Partner with building staff, security personnel, and facility management to coordinate access and facilitate emergency procedures.Deliveries & Mail Handling:
Receive, screen, and log incoming mail and packages, ensuring secure and prompt distribution to appropriate personnel.Opening Operations:
Perform daily morning opening duties, including unlocking main entrance doors, turning on lobby lighting, and conducting initial facility walkthroughs.Lobby Management:
Maintain a clean, professional, and orderly front desk and lobby area; report maintenance or safety concerns to building management promptly.Protocol Adherence:
Strictly follow established physical security protocols and utilize emergency response systems when necessary.Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated track record of exceptional reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong verbal and written communication foundation.
- Basic proficiency with administrative tools, including office phone systems and email.
- Ability to strictly follow security standard operating procedures and maintain composure during unexpected situations or emergencies.
- Must be able to report onsite daily for the 6:45 AM start time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a front desk, receptionist, administrative, or customer-facing security support role.
- Previous experience working within a government facility, military installation, or defense contractor environment.
