As the first point of contact for our customers and employees, the Receptionist plays an important role in creating a welcoming and exceptional dealership experience. The Receptionist is responsible for answering and directing multiple phone lines, greeting customers, assisting with basic customer inquiries, supporting accounting functionalities, and supporting the dealership's daily administrative operations. This position requires someone who is organized, dependable, personable, and remains professional and composed in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in providing outstanding customer service and understands that every interaction is an opportunity to reinforce the dealership's commitment to a premium customer experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a receptionist Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional and courteous telephone etiquette Ability to operate a multi-line phone system and general office equipment Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment Reliable attendance and punctuality Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in an automotive dealership, luxury retail, hospitality, or customer service environment Experience with dealership phone systems, scheduling software, or CRM systems Familiarity with automotive terminology and dealership departments Bilingual abilities are a plus Previous experience handling a high volume of inbound calls and customer interactions Experience providing service in a premium or luxury customer environment
Responsibilities:
Greet customers, guests, and visitors promptly and professionally upon arrival Answer and manage multiple incoming phone lines using professional phone etiquette Direct calls to the appropriate sales, service, parts, finance, or administrative department Assist customers with general questions and provide accurate information or connect them with the appropriate team member Monitor and manage the dealership's front desk and reception area Assist accounting team with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Make and receive customer calls as needed to support dealership operations Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and other correspondence Perform general administrative duties, including filing, copying, scanning, and other clerical tasks Assist dealership management and staff with administrative projects as needed Maintain confidentiality when handling customer and employee information Provide exceptional customer service and represent the Cadillac dealership in a professional manner at all times Work collaboratively with sales, service, parts, finance, and administrative teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
