Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and dependable weekend Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff, you will help create a welcoming and positive environment. This position requires weekend and holiday shifts as needed to support the facility's operations.
Responsibilities:
Greet residents, visitors, vendors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner Answer and direct incoming telephone calls promptly and accurately Provide information and assistance to residents, families, and visitors Manage visitor sign-in procedures and security protocols Receive and distribute mail and deliveries Maintain reception and lobby areas in a clean and organized manner Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, confidentiality standards, and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred Experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Ability to perform light clerical and office duties
