Automotive Customer Care Coordinator / Service Receptionist Teterboro Motors -
Little Ferry, NJ Job Type:
Full-time Help Create an Exceptional Customer Experience Teterboro Motors, one of Northern New Jersey's fastest-growing Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge and Ram dealerships, is looking for an energetic, organized, and customer-focused professional to join our Service Department. This is not a traditional receptionist position. As our Automotive Customer Care Coordinator, you will be one of the first points of contact for our service customers and play a key role in delivering an exceptional ownership experience. Your primary responsibility will be proactively contacting customers to schedule and confirm service appointments while helping ensure every customer receives outstanding care from start to finish.   • Proactively contact customers whose vehicles are due or overdue for maintenance.
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate service appointments.
  • Follow up with customers regarding recommended maintenance and repair needs.
  • Answer incoming service department calls professionally and courteously.
  • Greet customers and assist them upon arrival.
  • Maintain accurate customer information within dealership software.
  • Assist with appointment reminders and help reduce missed appointments.
  • Work closely with service advisors and management to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
  • Assist with light accounting duties including posting payments, processing invoices, filing repair orders, assisting with daily deposits, data entry, and administrative support.
  • Perform other office and customer service duties as assigned. Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Friendly, professional, and dependable
  • Comfortable making outbound customer calls throughout the day
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Detail-oriented with good computer skills
  • Microsoft Office experience preferred
  • Previous receptionist, customer service, BDC, administrative, or dealership experience is preferred but not required

Pay:
$16.75 - $18.25 per hour
