Job Description

Job Summary:
The incumbent will function as the Front Desk Receptionist for the company, greeting all visitors entering the building. The Front Desk Receptionist is the face of the company; therefore, it is necessary that he/she project a positive, embracing environment to everyone. Attention to detail in addressing questions from all visitors and employees and making sure that everyone has the support and answers to their questions. The incumbent also supports the HR Department on special projects and administrative tasks.
Essential Job Functions:
Front Desk Duties:
  • Answer calls and transfer to appropriate person and assist callers with questions.
  • Greet visitors and get them to where they need to be. Make sure all additional information required for visitors is completed by each person.
  • Greet applicants and explain forms and materials needed.
  • Order food for company events
  • Review and order any items needed for the office/cafeteria on a weekly basis and maintain the adequate supplies needed
  • Sort and distribute the mail and ensure all outgoing mail is ready for pick-up when USPS/FedEx/UPS arrives.
  • General administrative tasks as needed
HR Duties:
  • Support HR Department on monthly tasks such as reviewing carrier bills
  • Assist HR with employee orientations
  • File documentation in employees' files.
  • Assist HR with special events such as company meetings/celebrations
  • Assist HR in projects that may require research due to labor legislation changes
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate the upmost professionalism with visitors and employees
  • Ability to multitask and change priorities as needed with a sense of urgency in situations requiring immediate action by someone in the company or the incumbent.
  • Effectively work with all levels of management and employees with the upmost confidentiality with all the information and data the incumbent sees and/or is aware of.
Job Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Receptionist/Front Desk role.
  • Courteous personality with a welcoming demeanor with visitors and employees.
  • Good speaking voice on the phone with the ability to speak and communicate well
  • Computer literate and good comfort level with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Able to work on highly confidential information and maintain the integrity of the work with full confidentiality.
  • Must be fluent in
English and Spanish Compensation:
  • Base Salary and eligible for bonus We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
