Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check-in clients and their pets, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
  • Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from clients
  • Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various procedures and treatments
  • Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and managing invoices
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
  • Provide general administrative support to the veterinary clinic
Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
  • Proficient in computer systems and software, including veterinary practice management software
  • Knowledge of medical collection procedures and insurance billing
  • Familiarity with animal care techniques, including animal handling and pet grooming
  • Understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment used in a veterinary setting
  • Ability to handle dogs, cats, and other animals with care and compassion
  • Experience in equine care is a plus We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
