Job Description

Front Desk Receptionist - Family Practice Clinic We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our family practice clinic. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients and help ensure smooth daily clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments Check patients in and out Verify insurance information and collect copays or outstanding balances Update patient demographics and maintain accurate medical records Process referrals, medical record requests, and incoming documents Communicate professionally with patients, providers, pharmacies, and other healthcare offices Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements Assist with general administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous medical office or customer service experience preferred Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills Professional, compassionate, and dependable Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy clinic environment Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred Familiarity with electronic medical records and insurance verification is a plus
Pay:
$14.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
