Full-Time Front Desk Receptionist Busy Medical Practice We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and highly organized Full-Time Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy medical practice. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, able to multitask, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Our front desk is an important part of the patient experience, so we are looking for someone who can provide excellent customer service while keeping the day running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally Answer and manage a high volume of incoming phone calls Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Check patients in and out Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information Collect copays, deductibles, and patient balances when applicable Maintain accurate patient information in the electronic medical record system Communicate with providers, clinical staff, and other team members regarding patient needs Assist with referrals, authorizations, medical records, and other administrative tasks as needed Respond professionally to patient questions and concerns Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements Keep the front desk and reception area organized Help maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day Perform additional front-office duties as assigned Qualifications Previous medical office/front desk experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced medical office Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team Professional and positive attitude Strong attention to detail Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and electronic medical records Ability to communicate professionally with patients both in person and over the phone Knowledge of medical insurance and terminology is a plus What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who understands that a medical front desk requires more than answering phones and scheduling appointments.
