Location:
Bellport, NY Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle, as travel between the Bellport and Copiague campuses and to local government offices for school-related business is an essential function of this position.

9:00 AM-5:00 PM Position Summary The Electrical Training Center is seeking an organized, dependable, and customer-focused Registrar Assistant / Receptionist for our Bellport campus. Training will take place at our Copiague campus. The Registrar Assistant / Receptionist supports students throughout their educational experience by maintaining student records, processing attendance and grades, assisting with administrative needs, providing front desk support, and helping ensure compliance with school policies. Responsibilities Front Desk & Customer Service Greet students, visitors, and guests. Answer phones and respond to general inquiries. Direct prospective students to the appropriate department. Process student payments. Receive mail and deliveries. Maintain office and student supplies. Student Records Schedule students into classes. Monitor attendance, grades, make-up hours, and student status changes. Maintain student files and scan documents. Process transcripts, certificates, and graduation paperwork. Student Support Serve as a point of contact for students, instructors, and agency counselors. Follow up with absent students. Assist students with attendance, graduation requirements, and payment arrangements. Conduct exit interviews and student evaluations. Compliance & Reporting Maintain accurate student records and required reports. Help ensure compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements. Coordinate reports and communication with funding agencies and counselors. Events Assist with graduation ceremonies and school events. Coordinate citations and recognitions from local elected officials. Attend school events as needed. Qualifications This position requires a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle. High school diploma or equivalent. One year of administrative, receptionist, customer service, admissions, or registrar experience preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Outlook Calendar. Strong organizational, data entry, and communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently. Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Why Join Us? Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
