PART TIME MONDAY-TUESDAY MATURE RESPONDSIBLE AND RELIABLE ADULT COMPUTER EXPERIANCE MUST HAVE PREVIOUS VERIFABLE ANIMAL EXPERIENCE BE ABLE TO MULTI TASK LIGHT CLEANING POSSIBLE WEEKENDS AS NEEDED
Duties Greet clients warmly and professionally, providing outstanding customer service at the front desk Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and manage clinic calendars efficiently Handle medical collections accurately, ensuring proper billing and payment processing in compliance with veterinary and financial protocols Assist with animal handling and restraint during client visits or procedures to ensure safety for pets and staff Maintain detailed records using veterinary software, including patient histories, treatment plans, and laboratory results Support veterinary staff with medical-surgical tasks such as animal catheterization, aseptic techniques, and basic animal husbandry practices Communicate clearly with clients regarding pet care instructions, vaccination schedules, and treatment plans while adhering to veterinary terminology standards Manage laboratory samples and assist with diagnostic procedures in accordance with USDA regulations and DEA guidelines Qualifications Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is highly preferred Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, medical-surgical procedures, and animal anatomy Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and veterinary software systems Experience with dog handling, animal restraint, kennel management, and pet care techniques Familiarity with laboratory procedures, animal catheterization, aseptic techniques, and veterinary critical care practices Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of drug enforcement regulations (DEA), USDA regulations, and veterinary administrative support standards Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for animals meets your desire to provide exceptional client service. $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
