Position Summary The Receptionist is responsible for providing a welcoming, professional first point of contact for employees, visitors, customers, vendors, and contractors entering the manufacturing facility. This position manages the front lobby, handles incoming calls and visitors, and supports daily administrative and security procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet and assist all visitors, employees, vendors, and contractors in a professional and courteous manner. Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls to the appropriate department or employee. Maintain visitor sign-in and sign-out procedures in accordance with company policies. Issue and collect visitor identification badges and notify employees when their visitors arrive. Monitor the reception area and help maintain a clean, organized, and professional lobby. Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, packages, deliveries, and courier services. Maintain accurate visitor and delivery records. Follow all facility safety, security, and access-control procedures. Assist with employee and visitor questions and direct individuals to the appropriate department. Contact appropriate personnel in the event of an emergency or security concern. Provide general clerical and administrative support as needed. Maintain confidentiality of company, employee, customer, and visitor information. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous receptionist, customer service, administrative, or office experience preferred. Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to remain courteous and professional in a busy manufacturing environment. Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and data entry. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow established safety and security procedures. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks. Work Environment This position is primarily located at the main entrance/lobby of a manufacturing facility.
