What You?ll Actually Do As a Front Office Coordinator, you?re the first voice patients hear and the first face they see. You set the tone. In a pediatric dental practice, that?s everything ? a nervous kid or a stressed parent can have their whole experience turned around by a warm, confident front desk interaction. Day-to-day, you?
ll be:
Being the face of the practice ? welcoming patients and families with genuine warmth and making sure every visit starts on the right note Owning the schedule: booking and confirming appointments, ensuring all paperwork is complete, and keeping insurance verifications and authorizations current so the clinical team can focus on care Managing communications: handling phone calls from patients, parents, providers, and insurance companies with professionalism, patience, and clarity Handling payments and receipts: collecting and posting payments accurately, recording transactions, and maintaining a clean financial record Being a true team player: jumping in to support colleagues when the pace picks up, because in a practice this size, everyone?s success is shared
