Job Title:
Front Desk Receptionist (Private Psychiatry Practice)
Job Type:
Part-Time (32 hours/week)
Job Overview:
We are a private solo psychiatry practice seeking a reliable, organized, and personable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for patients while supporting the daily operations of the practice.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday:
11:00 AM - 6:00
PM Friday:
11:00 AM - 3:00
PM Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner Answer and manage phone calls, voicemails, and patient inquiries Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality Handle basic administrative and clerical tasks Coordinate communication between patients and the psychiatrist Process payments and assist with billing-related tasks (if applicable)
Qualifications:
Prior front desk, receptionist, or medical office experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable using computers and scheduling systems Ability to maintain discretion and handle sensitive information (HIPAA compliance)
Compensation & Benefits:
2 weeks paid vacation 1 week paid sick leave Paid federal holidays

Small, private, patient-focused psychiatry practice Supportive and professional setting
Pay:
$22.00 - $23.00 per hour
