Job Description

About Our Client Our client is a globally recognized alternative asset manager with a strong reputation for excellence across real estate, infrastructure, renewable power, private equity, and credit investments. This is an on-site position in their Financial District office. The standard schedule is 8:30AM-5:30PM, with overtime eligibility. Job Description As the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and senior business leaders, the Corporate Receptionist plays a highly visible role in shaping the experience of everyone entering the firm's New York headquarters. This individual will serve as an ambassador of the organization, creating a professional, welcoming, and seamless experience while supporting a fast-paced office of approximately 600 employees across multiple business units. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a polished corporate environment, enjoys interacting with people throughout the day, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service and attention to detail. Greet clients and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor. Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate team members. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure readiness for scheduled appointments. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. Provide administrative support to the team as needed. Maintain security by following access control procedures. Assist in preparing reports or documents as requested. The Successful Applicant A successful Corporate Receptionist will bring: A Bachelor's Degree. 1-2 years of administrative experience in a corporate environment, receptionist experience strongly preferred. Exceptionally polished, articulate, and professional in communication and presentation. Comfortable interacting with executives, clients, and high-profile visitors. Naturally warm, service-oriented, and proactive. Able to think quickly, remain composed under pressure, and manage competing priorities with confidence. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Experienced in a fast-paced corporate, professional services, financial services, legal, consulting, or hospitality environment. Committed to creating a first-class workplace and visitor experience. What's on Offer Competitive annual salary of $60,000-70,000, dependent on experience.
