Job Overview We are a growing private Urology practice seeking a Full-Time Front Desk Receptionist to join our friendly and professional healthcare team! In this vital role, you will be the friendly face and efficient coordinator at the front desk, ensuring smooth patient flow, exceptional service, and streamlining patient/office telephone calls. Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor, and assist with check-in procedures, including verifying personal information, insurance details, and collecting co-payments. Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinate follow-ups, and manage cancellations to optimize clinic flow. Manage incoming calls promptly, answer patient inquiries clearly, and direct calls to appropriate departments or providers. Maintain a clean and organized reception area while adhering to privacy regulations and safety standards in outpatient settings. Prepare and update electronic health record (EHR) systems with accurate patient data, medical history, and ICD coding for diagnoses.

Required:
Fluency in English and Spanish to assist patients of diverse backgrounds Knowledge of HIPAA policy. Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an administrative role in outpatient clinics, hospital medicine units, urgent care centers, or Level I/II trauma centers is highly desirable. Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and familiarity with medical-surgical documentation processes. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and compassionately. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently in fast-paced settings such as outpatient clinics or Level II trauma centers.
