Job Description
Hospital Overview:
We are a full service equine veterinary hospital located in Pine Bush, NY. Our services include on site and ambulatory wellness, routine medical, surgical and emergency care. We pride ourselves on our top notch customer service, and the highest standard of individualized medical care.Responsibilities will include:
Answering, screening, and forwarding all incoming calls, faxes and emails. Greeting clients, checking patients in/out. Scheduling medical appointments, ambulatory appointments and surgeries for multiple doctors. Recording and relaying information, maintaining medical documentation. Processing payments, refunds, cash handling Clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, faxing and emailing. Maintaining cleanliness and organization. CSR's are the face of the hospital and the client's main point of contact, it is of the utmost importance that our front desk is friendly, inviting, patient and caring.Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED (preferred) Receptionist experience, front office representative, veterinary assistant or similar. Experience with office office equipment (e.g. fax, printers, scanners, phone systems) Experience with computers (e.g. emailing, document attachments, windows programs, practice management software) Professional attitude and appearance. Verbal communication skills. Time management, multitasking, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Previous Veterinary or Medical office experience is preferred.Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per weekBenefits:
