PRIMARY FUNCTION
Maintain a safe a secure and organized office space at all times. Provide excellent customer service to parents, members, and visitors. Maintain accurate and daily membership, required documents, and manage collection of membership fees through Tracking System under the direction of supervisors, individual will assist in the organization of program process and registrations.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSABILITIES
Knowledge of the mission, objectives, policies, programs, and procedures and of the principles and practices of non-profit organizations; youth development services preferred. Maintain positive attitude and effective communication with all members, staff, parents, and volunteers. Provide customer service to volunteers and visitors, answer or obtain answers in a professional manner Maintain Database System, including payments, membership of youth and volunteers. Answer and route phone calls appropriately, in addition to returning calls in a timely manner pertaining to membership. Accurately relay information about upcoming events, activities, Club closings and times to the public in a timely manner through personal contact or phone calls. Ability to maintain daily attendance and knowledge of member's arrival and pick up procedures. Oversee proper record keeping and reporting including activities and events conducted. Provide Reports and daily participation figures Maintain a clean and organized front desk work environment. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Club staff, volunteers, community groups, and other related agencies. Ability to multi-task and be flexible and the ability to respond to emergencies in a calm and effective manner. Participate in overall Club functions as required. Lifting in excess of 45lbs will be required at times All other duties as assigned
RELATIONSHIPS
Internal:
Maintain close, daily contact with Club staff and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain, or interpret guidelines/instructions; instruct, and advise/counsel. Experience preferred. A minimum of one year work experience in a similar capacity Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics.
- Demonstrated organizational, staff and project management abilities.
- Working knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office and ability to become skilled in other software as needed.
Spanish speaking and writing are preferred.
