Job Description
Job Description Be the connection between our customers and our Service team. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Service Receptionist / Advisor Support team member to help keep our Service Department running smoothly. In this role, you'll work closely with our Service Advisors to support customers throughout their service experience — from scheduling their appointment to keeping them updated on their vehicle and helping with the final delivery. You'll also assist with rental vehicle contracts, appointment scheduling, reception duties, and occasional cashier coverage. If you're a strong communicator, enjoy helping people, and like being part of a busy team where no two days are exactly the same, this could be a great opportunity to grow your skills and gain experience in the automotive industry. What You'll Do Support our Service Advisors with day-to-day customer and administrative needs to help create a smooth, efficient service experience. Keep customers informed by providing status updates on their vehicles and helping communicate information between customers and the Service team. Assist with active vehicle deliveries, helping ensure customers have a smooth and organized experience when their vehicle is ready. Prepare and assist customers with rental vehicle agreements and related documentation. Answer incoming Service calls and schedule appointments, accurately gathering customer and vehicle information. Greet customers, answer questions, take detailed messages, and connect customers with the appropriate team member. Provide cashier coverage as needed, including processing payments and accurately closing repair orders. Assist with customer follow-up, service records, filing, and other administrative tasks that help keep the department organized. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For A friendly, professional personality with strong customer service skills. Excellent communication skills — you're comfortable speaking with customers both over the phone and in person. Someone who is organized, dependable, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a busy environment. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly. Previous experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, retail, or cashiering is a plus. Automotive experience is welcome but not required — we're looking for the right attitude and willingness to learn. Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds is a plus. Bilingual/Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply. High school diploma or GED required. Applicants must successfully complete required pre-employment screening. Schedule This is a full-time position requiring weekday availability and the ability to work Saturdays. Why Join Our Service Team? This is more than a traditional receptionist position. You'll have the opportunity to learn how an automotive Service Department operates, work directly with experienced Service Advisors, build valuable customer service and communication skills, and play an important role in creating a great experience for our customers. Ready to get started? Apply today and bring your personality, organization, and customer-first mindset to our Service team. Service Receptionist
