Job description: Front Desk Associate Overview The Front Desk Associate is the first point of contact for members and guests. This role blends customer service, basic administrative tasks, and support for daily gym operations. A great fit is someone who's friendly, organized, and comfortable in a fast‑paced, fitness‑focused environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome members and guests with a positive, energetic attitude Check members in/out using the gym's management system Handle membership inquiries and account questions Answer phone calls promptly and professionally Process payments for memberships Maintain a clean and organized front desk area Monitor facility access to ensure only authorized members enter Support staff and trainers with scheduling or member communication Address member concerns and escalate issues when needed Skills & Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable with computers Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy periods Customer service experience (preferred but not required) Basic understanding of fitness environments Reliability and punctuality Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
