Who This Job Is For This role is best suited for individuals who: Thrive in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is essential Are reliable, organized, and able to stay calm under pressure Learn quickly and can retain detailed information while managing multiple responsibilities at once Enjoy interacting with both dogs and their owners Are comfortable working around dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments Can confidently handle busy front desk operations while maintaining excellent customer service This is not a typical receptionist position. You will be balancing customer service, scheduling, dog handling, communication, computer work, and daily operations all at the same time.
Important:
Physical & Job Demands This is a hands-on, active position. To be successful, you must be able to: Stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout your shift Safely walk and handle dogs of all sizes and energy levels Work in a loud, busy, and highly active environment Quickly shift between tasks and priorities throughout the day Maintain focus and accuracy while managing phones, customers, and dog operations simultaneously This role is not a good fit for individuals who struggle in high-paced, multitasking environments. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and maintain a welcoming, organized lobby environment Answer phones, emails, texts, and customer communications promptly and professionally Check dogs in and out and safely transport them to assigned play yards Manage daycare and boarding reservations using company computer systems Record boarding belongings, feeding instructions, and medication information Monitor vaccination records and notify customers of upcoming requirements Conduct first-day interviews/evaluations for new dogs Communicate behavioral or health concerns to pet parents Assist with basic social media tasks as needed Maintain accurate daily records and support overall front desk operations Follow all company procedures to ensure a safe and professional environment Qualifications Previous customer service experience required Previous animal care, kennel, daycare, veterinary, or grooming experience preferred but not required Strong multitasking and organizational skills Comfortable learning new computer systems and procedures quickly Excellent communication and teamwork skills Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality Authorized to work in the United States Must love dogs and be comfortable working around them every day Why Join Our Team?
