Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Front desk staff/ receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience for at least 2 continuous years in doctor's office, ER, urgent care, or hospital medicine. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, greeting patients, checking insurance, performing administrative tasks such contact insurance companies, prior approvals, and supporting other healthcare professionals in delivering effective medical services, .helping in office procedures if needed, and have team spirit. Duties Patient intake at front desk and ensure accurate documentation of demographics, insurance verification, medical histories and vital signs Utilize EHR systems to maintain patient records and manage appointments/ schedules effectively Collaborate with other healthcare personnel to ensure optimal patient service and care delivery Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols Contact insurance companies, submission of prior authorization, verification and timely notify other team members If needed, assist in routine clinical tasks such as preparing patients for examinations and assisting during procedures Assisting in office procedures is not a requisite but will be appreciated Requirements Proven experience as a front desk or similar activity within a healthcare setting for at least 2 continuous years Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding Familiarity with EHR systems for efficient patient record management Ability to perform vital sign assessments accurately and efficiently Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care People person Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications related to specific areas of expertise are a plus (e.g., X-ray or OR experience) Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment as well as Team work Join our team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care while fostering a supportive work environment.
