Bridges Community Action Partnership Job Posting:
Receptionist - Shelby County Office Bridges Community Action Partnership is seeking an ambitious and organized Receptionist for our Shelby County office. This position follows a Monday-Thursday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating front office activities and presenting a positive organizational image as the first point of contact for the public. You will also provide program and application details, assist clients with documentation, and provide referrals to other agencies or organizations when needed. The Receptionist may actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other office functions as scheduled, along with performing additional duties as assigned. Essential Functions Answer telephones, direct calls to appropriate staff, and greet customers. Coordinate and schedule appointments for all programs. Provide client assistance with documentation. Process and complete HEAP queue and online applications. Greet the public and assist visitors. Send pending letters. Comply with all policies and standards of the organization. Ensure a confidential work environment. Assure that facilities are always presentable to the public. Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment and furnishings. Perform routine clerical functions. File completed client files. Perform all assigned intake duties. Complete all other duties as assigned. Why Make Bridges Your Career Choice?
