Job Description
Position Summary:
Supports the Director of Admissions and Admissions staff. Provides reception for customers on the phone and in person.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers and routes all incoming phone calls
- Tracks Admissions phone leads
- Opens facility
- Inputs new leads in CampusVue
- Greets all visitors and callers and answer inquiries
- Gathers and track documents required for student files
- Assists Admission Representatives in file preparation
- Assists with ordering of office supplies
- Orders new employee background checks
- Sorts incoming mail
- Orders meals for different school functions (e.g., new student orientation)
- Takes pictures to produce student and faculty/staff identification badges
- Maintains confidentiality of all business records and information
- Provides assistance to other managers as appropriate
- Handles day-to-day care of current students
- Refunds money for vending machine errors
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance
Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- High school diploma
- Prior office and receptionist experience
- Possesses an upbeat, professional personality and is a team player
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor and represent the company in a professional manner with all customers, personnel, vendors and students
