Job Description
The Receptionist/Administrator will be responsible for providing consistent outstanding customer service to all visitors and incoming callers to AMETEK's global corporate headquarters.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate a web-based phone system (Teams) while utilizing various resources to route callers to the appropriate person or location accordingly.
Monitor visitor access via web-based registry.
Route product related phone calls to the appropriate employee and business unit.
Sort incoming mail daily; handle all incoming and outgoing UPS and FedEx packaging in a timely manner.
Assist facilities specialist with kitchen/break room restocking, mail delivery and mail processing as needed.
Coordinate catering of lunches for meetings/events.
Assist with coordination of occasional employee events.
Assist with coordination of various departmental large mailings.
Provide clerical/administrative support as needed.
Other duties/projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma/GED Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional reception or administrative role.
Excellent customer services and administrative skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook mail, Word, Excel, and Teams)
Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate use cases and critcally evaluate AI-generated outputs. #LI-BM1
