Job Description
We are looking for a dependable Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations for an investment advisory office. This is a Contract position suited for someone who enjoys creating a strong first impression while keeping administrative tasks organized and on schedule. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling routine office duties, assisting visitors, and helping the team maintain an efficient workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and direct them appropriately while maintaining a courteous and detail-oriented front-desk presence.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to general inquiries, and route messages to the correct team members in a timely manner.
- Coordinate day-to-day reception activities to help ensure smooth office operations throughout scheduled working hours.
- Support administrative tasks such as managing calendars, preparing basic documents, and maintaining organized records.
- Monitor shared office areas and help keep the reception space orderly, presentable, and ready for visitors.
- Assist with onboarding-related scheduling, including participation in the required half-day training session and subsequent assigned shifts.
- Provide general office support as needed to accommodate team priorities and maintain consistent service levels.
- Basic office skills with the ability to manage routine administrative and front-desk tasks effectively.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented approach when interacting with visitors, clients, and internal staff.
- Ability to stay organized, prioritize responsibilities, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced office setting.
- Comfort answering phones, taking messages, and directing inquiries with accuracy and discretion.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality for scheduled training and contract work hours.
- Proficiency with standard office equipment and familiarity with common administrative practices.
