Job Description
Comfort & Care Medical is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist / Front Office Coordinator to join our growing team! As the first point of contact for patients, referral sources, and visitors, you'll play an essential role in creating a welcoming experience while keeping our office running smoothly. If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have strong organizational skills, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities Greet patients, visitors, and referral sources with professionalism and a positive attitude Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system Schedule appointments and manage office calendars Scan, upload, organize, and maintain electronic patient records Perform accurate data entry and general administrative support Process incoming faxes, emails, and mail Assist with insurance, referral, and patient documentation as needed Maintain organized filing systems and ensure confidentiality of patient information Communicate effectively with patients, physicians' offices, therapists, and healthcare facilities Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming Provide excellent customer service while assisting patients with questions and directing them to the appropriate staff member Qualifications Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, or medical office experience preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace Fast and accurate typing and data entry skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office environment Professional phone etiquette and experience using multi-line phone systems Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality Experience working in a healthcare, DME, or medical office is a plus Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply What We Offer Supportive team environment Opportunity for growth and professional development Meaningful work helping improve patients' quality of life Monday-Friday schedule Competitive pay based on experience
