Position Type:
Seasonal / Full-Time Hours During Tax Season Kirk Summa & Company is a well-established accounting firm that has proudly served its clients for more than 30 years. We are committed to providing quality professional services while building strong, lasting relationships with our clients. We are seeking a Front Desk / Administrative Staff member to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, dependable, and personable individual who enjoys working with people and supporting a professional office environment. Position Schedule The position is seasonal , with full-time hours during tax season (January through April) . Hours during the remainder of the year will be scheduled as needed and may vary based on the firm's workload. Responsibilities Greet and assist clients in a professional and friendly manner Cover the front desk and manage incoming phone calls Receive, organize, and distribute client documents Assemble and prepare completed tax returns for delivery to clients Handle mailing, postage, and shipping duties Maintain organization of the firm's file room and office records Accept and process client payments Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area Provide support to accountants and other staff members as needed Perform other duties and special projects as necessary Qualifications Prior experience in a tax, accounting, professional services, or other professional office setting is preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential client information with discretion Dependable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, particularly during tax season Comfortable answering phones and interacting with clients Basic computer skills and willingness to learn office software and procedures Ability to work independently while also being a team player What We Offer The opportunity to work with an established and respected local CPA firm A professional and supportive work environment Meaningful interaction with clients and members of the accounting team Seasonal full-time employment during the busy tax season If you are organized, dependable, and enjoy providing excellent service to clients, we would like to hear from you.
