Job Description

Millcreek Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, organized, and professional Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to join our team. We are a fast-paced AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital that values teamwork, communication, client experience, and high-quality patient care. Our reception team plays a critical role in creating a calm, welcoming, and professional experience for every client and patient who walks through our doors. Responsibilities Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism Answer multi-line phones and manage appointment scheduling Check clients in and out efficiently and accurately Communicate clearly with doctors, nurses, and team members Process payments and maintain accurate records Assist with prescription requests and client communication Help manage the flow of appointments and emergencies Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area Support clients during emotional or stressful situations with empathy and professionalism Qualifications Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong multitasking and organizational abilities Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn Computer proficiency and attention to detail Veterinary or medical office experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person What We Value We are looking for someone who: Communicates professionally and kindly Works well under pressure Takes initiative and follows through Understands the importance of teamwork Wants to grow and improve professionally Genuinely enjoys helping both people and pets Benefits May Include Competitive pay based on experience Employee pet discounts Paid time off/Flexible schedule Retirement plan options Continuing education and training opportunities Positive and supportive team environment To Apply Please send your resume and a brief introduction telling us about yourself and why you would be a great fit for our team.
