Job Description
- Overview
- We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our 24 hour Emergency Center team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and exceptional customer service skills with a minimum of 2 years, on-site experience.
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from clients
- Assist with medical record management and data entry
- Handle payments and billing processes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Qualifications
- 2 years minimum in the Veterinary Field
- Experience in animal handling and care is preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Ability to recognize emergent situations and remain calm.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for data entry and appointment scheduling
- Certification in aseptic technique or willingness to learn is a plus
