Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Temporary Receptionist to join our team and serve as the welcoming face of our organization. This energetic role involves managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth office management. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and be comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable administrative experience while contributing positively to our workplace culture. Duties Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally, directing calls or taking messages as needed Manage front desk operations including mail distribution, filing, and maintaining office supplies Assist with calendar management and scheduling appointments for staff members Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, word processing, proofreading, and document preparation Support office management activities by organizing files, maintaining records, and supporting administrative projects Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and offering assistance in person or via phone and email Experience Previous office experience in a receptionist or administrative support role is preferred Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with office management software Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse client needs Demonstrated phone etiquette and experience answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism Clerical experience including filing, typing, proofreading, and calendar management is essential Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a busy environment Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity for clear client communication and support This role is paid and offers an engaging environment where your organizational talents will shine.
