  • We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.
This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly desirable.
  • Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, directing calls as necessary.
  • Schedule appointments for patients, ensuring accurate medical scheduling.
  • Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance verification processes with our verification team.
  • Maintain organized documentation by reviewing and updating patient records as needed.
  • Handle office management tasks including managing supplies and maintaining a clean reception area by reporting them to your supervisor.
  • Provide support to clinical staff as required, facilitating smooth communication between patients and medical and dental providers.
  • Utilize Carestream WINOMS or similar software for patient management and scheduling tasks.
  • Requirements
  • Previous experience in a medical or dental office preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with patients and staff.
  • Proficient in office management practices, including documentation review and scheduling.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy environment.
  • Familiarity with medical and dental terminology is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
