What You'll Do:
Coordinate the
Patient Experience:
Responsible for maintaining the day to day flow of the clinic, ensuring that phone calls are answered promptly, patients are welcomed warmly and checked in accurately, and moved through their appointments on time.
Professional Problem-Solving:
Serve as the primary, friendly point of contact for patient inquiries via phone call or in person — from scheduling to resolving concerns with a calm, helpful, objective approach.
Insurance & Records Coordination:
Monitor the schedule, alert the team of pending tasks, and help verify vision coverage so every patient file is ready and accurate before their visit.
Process Management:
Follow and uphold established office protocols to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for patients and staff alike.
Protect Patient's PHI:
Handle sensitive information confidentially while adhering to HIPAA guidelines. A typical day might start with confirming tomorrow's insurance authorizations, answering the telephone, checking voicemails and returning calls, checking patients in as they arrive, and keeping the front desk running like clockwork — all before lunch.
