About Us Berks Financial is a small, family-operated financial planning firm that takes pride in providing personal service and building lasting relationships with our clients. We believe our clients should be greeted by a familiar voice, not a 1-800 number. We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized individual to join our team as a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant. Position Summary The Receptionist / Administrative Assistant serves as the first point of contact for clients and plays an important role in maintaining the professional, confidential, and client-focused environment our firm is known for. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and working in a professional office environment. The successful candidate will assist with client communications, scheduling appointments, administrative tasks, and day-to-day office operations while helping create a welcoming experience for every client who contacts or visits our office. Primary Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and provide friendly, professional customer service. Take accurate messages and route calls appropriately. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule client appointments. Greet clients and visitors and help create a welcoming office environment. Build familiarity and positive relationships with clients through regular interactions. Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing paperwork. Maintain electronic and paper records. Assist advisors with administrative tasks and paperwork processing. Follow up with clients and outside organizations regarding administrative requests and paperwork. Handle incoming and outgoing mail. Open the office each morning and prepare for the business day. Help maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming office environment. Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive client information in accordance with firm policies and professional standards. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office. Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. Dependable, professional, and punctual. Preferred Qualifications Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, customer service, or office experience. Experience answering multi-line phone systems. Pay:
$40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
