Job Description

The Receptionist at Linwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center serves as the first point of contact for all visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. This role is pivotal in managing multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls appropriately, and handling general administrative tasks to support smooth office operations. The Receptionist will greet clients and guests warmly, providing assistance and information as needed to enhance their experience. Additionally, the role involves managing office equipment such as copy machines and maintaining organized records to facilitate daily workflows. Ultimately, the Receptionist contributes to the overall efficiency and positive reputation of the organization by delivering exceptional front-desk service. The Receptionist position schedule will initially start with the temporary, regular set part-time schedule (below) and expected to work intermittent availability for other shifts as available.

Thursdays:

4:30pm

Fridays:

4:30pm

Saturdays:

2:30pm

•8pm

Sundays:

2:30pm

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience handling multi-line phone systems in a receptionist or administrative role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic proficiency with office equipment including copy machines. Ability to perform general office duties efficiently and accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a healthcare or hospitality environment. Demonstrated ability to handle phone traffic with professionalism.

Responsibilities:

Answer and manage multiple phone lines with professional phone etiquette, directing calls to the appropriate personnel or departments. Greet and assist clients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner upon arrival. Perform general administrative duties including, data entry, and managing correspondence. Operate office equipment such as copy machines and ensure supplies are stocked and maintained.
