We are hiring Front Desk Associates / Poll Worker Support Staff to assist a local government Voter Services Office as they prepare for the 2026 Fall Election. This is a temporary, full-time, on-site position starting ASAP and expected to run through approximately the end of November 2026. Poll Worker Support:
Serve as the first point of contact for members of the public visiting the Voter Services Office Greet visitors and provide friendly, professional customer service Answer general questions regarding voter services, registration, ballot applications, and election-related processes Assist visitors with forms, applications, and other paperwork Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and general inquiries Assist with voter registration materials, ballot applications, mail, and other election-related documents Perform data entry, filing, recordkeeping, and other general administrative tasks Help keep the front desk and office organized and running smoothly Provide support to poll workers as they prepare for Election Day , including helping them with paperwork, materials, check-in, scheduling questions, and other administrative needs Assist poll workers with getting set up and prepared for their Election Day assignments Help answer questions and direct poll workers to the appropriate staff member when additional assistance is needed As Election Day approaches, assist with increased office activity and election preparation Assist at other locations or with special projects as needed Duties may include periods of standing and light lifting
What We're Looking For:
