Job Description

About us : We are a dedicated veterinary team delivering compassionate care in our state-of-the-art, well-appointed veterinary hospital! We are looking for an experienced veterinary receptionist , eager to use and expand your skills. Our hospital offers a friendly work environment with a strong desire to mentor employees. Our modern facility includes the latest technology of an integrated computer system (AVImark®) with digital radiography to meet our goals of being paperless, while offering high quality medicine and outstanding client service. Experience in an animal hospital, medical office or professional office is desired; however willing to train the right individual. High school education required, associates or college degree preferred.
Duties include:
answering and returning telephone calls checking and returning emails maintaining medical records scheduling appointments and surgeries checking in clients/patients admitting and discharging patients entering charges and taking payments balancing cash drawer and preparing bank deposit at end of day educating clients about pet wellness care, flea and tick prevention, vaccination, and elective surgeries maintaining organization and professional appearance of front desk monitoring inventory of office supplies maintaining appointment schedule cleaning and restocking at end of day assisting with appointments as skill and experience allow The schedule is Monday-Friday between 8:30-3pm pm and every Saturday 8am-1pm; additional hours available. The veterinary hospital is closed on Wednesday & Sunday.
