Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist with prior experience to join our dynamic veterinary team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and their beloved pets, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, and administrative support. Your expertise in veterinary terminology, client communication, and animal handling will contribute to delivering exceptional pet care and seamless clinic operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, pet-centered environment where your skills make a real difference in animal health and client satisfaction. Duties Greet clients and their pets warmly, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure Manage appointment scheduling using veterinary software, coordinating with veterinary staff to optimize daily operations Assist with front desk responsibilities such as answering phone calls, responding to client inquiries, and managing electronic records Facilitate effective communication between clients and veterinary team members regarding pet care instructions and treatment plans Maintain a thorough understanding of veterinary terminology, surgical procedures, and medical-surgical protocols to assist with patient intake and discharge processesSkills Proven experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a veterinary clinic setting with knowledge of veterinary administrative support functions Strong familiarity with veterinary software systems and Microsoft Office applications for record keeping and communication Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients from diverse backgrounds Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to companion animal medicine and veterinary critical care environmentsJoin our team where your passion for animals combined with your administrative expertise will help us provide outstanding pet healthcare!
