Job Description
Overvie Marshall Township, Allegheny County is seeking the right person to serve as the first impression of our team serving Marshall Township. Our receptionist plans to retire after more than 11 years of service to the Township and we are looking to fill that position.
Specific duties and responsibilities include:
- Greet visitors to the Township Building and direct them to the appropriate person/location
- Answer all incoming telephone calls and route to the appropriate team member
- Sort incoming mail and route to appropriate department
- Receipt payments received in-person or through the mail
- Prepare and maintain Township monthly calendar
- Process all incoming permits and route to appropriate department
- Review monthly Real Estate Reports and route to appropriate department
- Sell bulk item garbage tags to the public
- Provide administrative assistance to the Public Works Department
- Provide administrative Support to the Township Safety Committee and other Township Staff when necessary
- Serve as resource to callers regarding Township information and events The successful candidate will possess the following:
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- High School Diploma or GED required
